# WebhookPayloadGenerationEnum Enum

Determines when the subscription payload of an asynchronous webhook is built for events that defer payload generation.

`DEFERRED`: the payload is built in a background task and reflects the object's state at the time the task runs.

`IMMEDIATE`: the payload is built by whatever triggered the event, a request or a background task, and reflects the object's state at that moment, at the cost of slowing that request or task.
